I was pretty sure my wife was plotting to steal Carmine and bring him home with us

CJPP show schedule is not done yet but our Customer Appreciation Day is usually the first Saturday in July, if there is a conflict it becomes the first Saturday in August. We had well over 400 cars this year. I would love to see an LMMC group make the trip, I can give directions!

There is literally a hotel 50 yards from CJs driveway. There is also a nice hotel within walking distance to my house and I would be happy to have a cookout, etc for any LMMC people making the trip. I only live about 5-10 minutes from CJs

This is my 3rd year as a member of LMMC but the first time I was able to attend the show. It was a great show and I hope I can attend next year too. You guys do it right. I've been to other car shows where I won trophies but it was by participant vote which is very unreliable if you ask me. And I never felt I had a chance to finish 1st because I was not a member of that particular club and I know all the people that are there from the host club all vote for each other's cars. Which is cool but I think independent judging is better. When I take 3rd in one of those shows I feel like I did accomplish something because I am competeing against so many members of the club.

I didn't take a trophy yesterday but it gives me something to shoot for. When I saw the competition in my class I was like....good grief I am toast....lol.

But I loved the show and the experience and getting to talk to many other people there. And thanks to all the club officers and volunteers that put on this show. You guys are the best.

I do always hear people talking about my WLD PNY license plate though. I think some people think that is better than my car.....lol

If only everyone felt this way or would understand why we do what we do. Someone is going to think we paid you off to say that . Glad you enjoyed the show though and most importantly understand that its not all about winning a trophy, although it is a great thing to shoot for. I know I didnt get one 2 years ago and then last year I spent a good amount of time cleaning the car for the show and it paid off, definitely motivation

BINGO!!!! Damn that sums it up better than I have ever heard it. I wish EVERYONE got that....

Some of the classes, especially the newer ones all of the cars are clean...they're new. So it is very hard to judge...you end up having to try to find flaws in the cars and look at things people wouldn't think about. It doesn't mean someone's car isn't nice - it means they were all nice and not everyone can win every time. In the end be happy you helped some great charities....

I didn't do a big check this year for a few reasons, sorry Billy.

On a positive note, I just got back from dropping the food off at the church - they were EXTREMELY THANKFUL....you all should be very proud of what you did yesterday. I was blown away by the bags and bags of food. (And whomever packed that one box, @#%@#$%#$ that was heavy!!!)

Yep, Anissa got it - thanks!

On another positive note, they were even able to take the rolls so that worked out.
