Announcing the 2010 LMMC-CT Season! (Memberships, Events and New Sponsors!)

The staff at LMMC-CT is happy to announce our 2010 season! We have several big changes we are excited about and cannot wait for spring to get here.

As we all know, 2009 was a rough year for everyone - LMMC-CT was not excluded from this. Event participation suffered, and everyone's general outlook on things was diminished as we worried about the economy and our jobs.

We are using 2010 to get back to our roots - what made LMMC-CT great to begin with will make us bigger, better and more fun once again. We hope everyone will join us for a fun filled year.


MEMBERSHIPS :

New for 2010 we have introduced a reduced cost membership. $30.00 will give you full member benefits, discounts, access to all events and a club sticker - but it excludes a new T-Shirt.

Existing member renewals with a T-Shirt and New membership pricing remains the same - another year without a price increase as we try to do more value for your membership dollar.

EVENTS :

While the exact dates are still being finalized, we are making 2010 more about families and friendships - and less about competition. That is what has always made this club great, the friendship we have built over the years. We have the following planned for the upcoming season :

• LMMC-CT Winter Party - Join us for a fun filled night benchracing.
• Annual Spring Cruise - Open to All, Always a great day!
• Bowling Night
• Meguiar's Technical Events (Beginner and Advanced)
  • Always a great learning experience. The beginner course teaches you the basics of cleaning a vehicle; the advanced gets more evolved with wetsanding, buffer use, etc.
• DynoDay & BBQ @ EFILogics (no tuning services this event)
  • Event will be open to all vehicles
  • Trophies will be presented for top performing vehicles
• LMMC-CT Family Day
  • Come spend the day with your LMMC-CT Family
  • BBQ, softball, volleyball, bouncy tent for the kids and we're working on getting a dunk tank....come out and dunk your favorite LMMC-CT staff member or forum instigator for charity! Confirmed for the dunking tank so far are : Snkypete, blown94conv, JoeStang, TwinTurbostang, The Dude!
• LMMC-CT Annual Golf Tournament
• LMMC-CT Charity Car Wash
  • Come have your car washed by and photographed withy some gorgeous ladies to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation! 100% of the proceeds will go towards breast cancer.
• CTAutoFestival Car Show Sponsored by Hoffman Ford
  • We have teamed up with Hoffman Ford to bring what we hope will be our largest event ever. We've joined forces with other car clubs from around the state to bring together what we feel will be one of the best car shows in the state.

Hey at least you guys are reading the dribble I write, I should be happy at that LOL Yeah I think we have an excellent mix of people for the dunk tank and 100% of the money will go to a charity (still haven't figured that one out - trying to help a lot of good causes this year).

Wow looks like this year is going to be very eventful! Family day, bowling, tech events, and BBQ and dyno day, the car wash, etc etc ... should be fun!
