7, 2007 : I am happy to say that the 4th Annual LMMC-CT Car Show
was the best one yet. The most participation, the best
cars in the classes, the most raffle prizes, a great staff and
most importantly - a great donation to a very worth cause.
While the early morning weather gave us somewhat of a scare, by
the time registration opened the skies were sunny and the line
of vehicles began heading into the show field at the Moroso
facility. In the end, 129 cars were parked in 28 separate
classes with an excellent showing across the board. While
the judges were viewing the cars, participants and spectators
alike enjoyed the sponsor booths, the larger Woman's Oasis, and
great food including a BBQ with pulled pork sandwiches - new for
2007.The best part of
the day however was the fact that thanks to our everyone
involved we were able to donate $1,000.00 to the Hot Water
Rescue - a group devoted to saving misunderstood breeds.
Deuce, the wonderful APBT puppy on hand for the day might have
even found a home - would could be better!
